Born and raised in central Ohio, my athletic life consisted mainly of team sports until I was an adult. Starting with a local 5K, I quickly progressed through the running world and then found my home in triathlon. Seeing as how much the sport gave to me, I wanted to be part of giving back. That desire eventually led me to coaching and became an unexpected vocation.
At this stage in my life, I live vicariously through my athletes as they work daily to conquer their dreams. I view my athletes as a partner in this journey and I feel very blessed that each of them has allowed me this opportunity. From dreaming of finishing their first sprint-distance race to crossing the finish line in Kona, I've had incredible opportunities to work with amazing people from all walks of life and different goals.
