Off-Day ActivityWell, sleeping in is a must, but I love spending time mountain biking and hiking. I love to spend time with my family!

As far back as I can remember, I've always been active with sports, exercise, and healthy living. As an adult, I was a competitive runner, then became a competitive triathlete. I've been doing triathlons for over 16 years and boy, have I learned a lot. Started out competing in short course and eventually into long course, which includes the "big one", Kona Ironman. With my years of racing and my passion for the sport, I decided that I wanted to share what I've learned and I started "officially" coaching 12 years ago. I am a USAT Certified Triathlon Coach, a USAT Certified Youth & Junior Coach. I am certified in Bosu, which is a fun way to work on your strength and core. I've been a USAT Certified Race Director and a USAT Certified Race Official. I coach High School XC, which has truly been a blast and help my husband coach Middle School XC. My husband, Michael, who is also a coach. Although each of our athletes works closely with Mike or myself as their primary coach, we also work in collaboration to closely track and review the training and development of all our athletes. As a coach, I want my athletes to get the most out of coaching and to meet their goals. If my athlete succeeds, then I feel like I have succeeded. It truly warms my heart when an athlete works hard and sees the improvements in training and races. I want only the very best for my athletes!
