I have been a triathlete for the last 12 years. Started out as a cyclist, but decided I wanted to do IMLP since we spend a lot of time playing in Lake Placid. I then learned to swim at 38 yrs old(ugh). I have finished 5 Ironman's in total Lake Placid(3x), Boulder and Mont-Tremblant. I DNF'd Coeur d'Alene in 2015 due to the 107F temps (womp womp). I have also numerous 70.3’s, olympic distance and some sprints all over the country. Triathlon has become a big part of my life and I am so thankful for how it has changed me for the better.
My wife is now getting into triathlon too, so I have been coaching her which is very rewarding. Besides triathlon, my other passions are photography, videography, and traveling the world. The best thing is combining these three interests together.
For my day job, I am a Cloud Architect in IT. I have been working as a computer programmer for over 20 years.
I also love craft-brewed IPA’s.
