I just completed my 60th triathlon last weekend (Santa Rosa Island Triathlon, near Pensacola, FL). I also turned 60 this year, so that kind of matches up. I'm a Level I USAT certified coach (since 2017), but use what I've learned mostly to help others in the sport, from kids to beginners to skilled age-groupers. I love the sport and the people in it. You folks seem to be both talented and a lot of fun. (Michael Weyant, Stephanie Liles-Weyant, and Charlie Johnson in Tallahassee are friends of mine, so I know you choose good people.) I've done a couple IMs, 10 or so 70.3s, and the rest being sprints and Olympics. I am a past-president of Gulf Winds Triathletes (a super active and passionate group of athletes of all skills levels), and have various other accolades and honors in the sport. I started when I was 50, mainly to see if I could get my cholesterol in check. I did.
