I'm a former NCAA D1 swimmer (UC Irvine) who turned to the sport of triathlon after I graduated. I started off only racing within the sprint and Olympic distances, but have now made the move to race in the 70.3 and Ironman distances. Living the endurance lifestyle has definitely not been the easiest thing to do. However, the vast communities of endurance sports around the world have made a huge difference in giving me constant support and motivation to continue. Every year I focus on improving my skills and pushing myself to a new level of mental and physical fitness.
I currently work for California State University, Long Beach and make an effort to get my colleagues and students out of the office and get outdoors to stay fit.
